your child's development in many ways.

Designing Tactile Books for Blind and Partially Sighted Children and Methods of reading to them promoting Conceptualization

Susanne Gudrun Sariyannis, mother of two blind children, has used her experiences from supporting her own children to develop a concept for designing tactile books for visually impaired preschool children. Constantly developing new, creative ideas, she has made them a new generation of books.

The Pfeifi-books

The teacher for early intervention Annette Strack of the pedagogical early intervention center of Evangelischer Regionalverband Frankfurt developed the Pfeifi-books. They are adressed mainly to blind pre-school children, but also to sighted. They improve activities, tactile strategies and concept development and first of all they make a lot of fun to the children.

Mangold Braille Program: Tactile Perception and Braille Letter Recognition

The Mangold Braille Program for tactile recognition consists of two training levels. The first level intends to train the tactile perception and the recognition of symbols, surfaces and geometric shapes to a child.
